News Day..

The moment I switched on my TV, there were shower of news from every corner. I enjoyed watching them and for the first time I had to switch on to active news of Tata Sky (Thanks to the technology ) as I was not in a mood to miss any of them.

Starting with a tick tack-tick tack watch of US, which is going to ring in a short while and the adamant LEFT, which doesn’t seem to be on a compromise mood this time simultaneously the threat from our honourable PM to quit if the deal fails. Most of the news channel have forgotten “arushi” and have concentrated on this high profile drama where the UPA supporter politicians, Lalu & Paswan, seeing no threat on the government and so called political analysts believe that government is in deep shit. Keep your finger crossed and watch this Sas (Sonia ) and bahu (left) serial.

Moving to business channels, almost all the channels were flashing with the breaking news of CRR and RR hike from the central bank of India. This news might have given sleepless night to the MDs & EDs of the banks and to make the matter worse, these TV channels are bothering them on the phones asking them stupid questions “was it expected?”. Anyway much more masala was added to the news with a pinch of inflation and projections were done (which is hardly right).

But these are not interesting news for a frustrated middle class junta who has come from the office to watch some masala news. Don’t worry, Aaztak was fulfilling their demand with a breaking news of “Pati, Patnin aur woh” , a story of extra marital relation. This was the least bothered news to be watched by a sensible guy, hence could not hold my tv screen for more than 10 seconds.

For sports fan, especially football fans, who can not cheer for their own country but see a sense of pride and honour to be associated with any of the big names, Germany, Italy or Spain, an analysis for the semis of Euro cup was going on pressing Turkey a meek creature in front of Giant Germany in the leader ship of Great Ballack. On the other hand a loud applause for Gus Hinddik, who again repeated the history after 6 years, earlier qualifying S Korea to the Semis of WC-2002 and now pushing Russia into Semis ( beating the mighty Dutch). I agree that under his coaching, these chaps not only play with a rhythm but also look in attacking mood. Waiting for Sunday to see the final and hope the dream of making Russia No. 1 country in the world (Putin’s dream) will start with Euro 2008 championship win.

Lots of cricket going around the world this time, people getting bored with this game (seriously) so the ICC is looking for emerging markets like Hongkong and UAE, as they are the new entrants in the Asia cup and both have lost their first match with a hope that some day they will win the cup.
As usual, our dream girl, Sania has cleared her first round in the Wimbledon, lets see, how many rounds she can clear this time before she tumbles...

So its time for wait and watch, enjoy watching news….
